Georgetown Isn't Cracking The Final Four Next Year.

The only chance Hoya faithful have right now of sniffing Final Four again in '08 is if Jeff Green and Roy Hibbert reconsider their respective decisions to go into the draft -- neither one of them have hired agents, so it's entirely possible that they could return next season if they pull their names out in time, although both are likely ready to contribute to NBA teams now, especially Hibbert.

Oh, and the Indianapolis Star is saying that the dad of some big man you may have heard of says his kid will go pro this year, much like most of us thought (although I was kind of hoping otherwise.) Greg Oden is a consensus #1 to EVERYONE in the running for this draft. I thought there were several teams who could pass on Kevin Durant, but there aren't any teams in the lottery that can afford to pass on Oden. Durant will go after him, and Hibbert would be a nice consolation prize to anyone who needs a center after that.

If Green and Hibbert stay, the Hoyas win it all next year...

That just shows how special the Florida team was this past year with all 5 guys coming back to defend the title

If even 1 of them is back they should be excellent... Ewing, Wallace, Summers, Sapp, etc. There's still going to be a lot of talent for JT III to work with.

Yeah, I'm thinking these guys might pull their names out. Both of them will be lottery picks, though, so the temptation will be there to stay in.

If both go, G-Town isn't going to the Four next year. If one of them stays, then it's a possibility.
