Indians 4, Angels 2 - Tribe DH Travis Hafner tees off of usually solid Angels set-up man Scot Shields in the bottom of the eighth, costing my fantasy team yet another hit (damn you, Scot), after Dustin Moseley threw another decent start for the Halos.
Twins 3, Rays 2 - Justin Morneau pounds one out in the bottom of the eighth after a spectacularly boneheaded play by Rays OF Carl Crawford in the top of the inning, running faster than Ben Zobrist, and forcing him out between third and home -- instead of staying at third, Crawford made a break back for second, and got tagged out. This is why you have base coaches, Carl.
Mets 5, Phillies 3 - Grumpy old men face off, and Tom Glavine gets the better of Jamie Moyer, only allowing Jimmy Rollins to hit a couple of homers off him.
Nats 2, Braves 0 - The second win of the season, and the first game where the Nats have actually had a lead to hold.
Orioles 2, Royals 1 (10 innings) - Steve Trachsel throws a decent start for Baltimore, but can't get a win, as it takes extras for Jay Gibbons to get a hit with the bases loaded for the win. KC is probably less concerned with the close loss than ace Gil Meche (how weird is it to type that; "ace" and "Gil Meche" should not be in the same sentence, ever) pulling a hammy.
