Padres 4, Giants 0 - That pissing on people in the shower stuff and pranking the rest of the team must keep Greg Maddux young in ways we can't or don't care to imagine. Maddux gave up six hits in six innings, struck out six, and didn't walk anyone.
Cards 3, Pirates 2 - The number 2 spot in the batting order is magic for the Cardinals, as So Taguchi goes 3 for 3 with two doubles, and then LaRussa pinch hits for him with Chris Duncan, who touches up Pitt closer Salomon Torres for the game winning homer.
Mariners 3, Red Sox 0 - The more impatient sector of Boston fans may already be calling for Daisuke's head to be served up like sashimi, even though it wasn't his fault the Red Sox's offense got completely shut down by Felix Hernandez last night.
Reds 3, D-Backs 2 - Outfielder Josh Hamilton is making the most of his second opportunity, homering in the second straight game, this time to give Cincinnati a much needed win early on.

I cannot believe Solomon Torres is still in the league. It boggles my mind.
When you're the Pirates, you take what you can get. And that often is Salomon Torres.
